British high street retailer Ann Summers is to relocate its current Northampton store to Grosvenor Shopping Northampton.
It will move from Abington Street to unit 18-20 Newland Walk after the brand signed a five-year lease for the 2,000 sq ft shop.
Fit out has already begun and the well-known lingerie brand plans to open its doors to the public on August 3, 2023.
A spokesperson for Ann Summers said: “This is a relocation store so we’re happy to announce that all the same staff will be transferring over to the new store. We are very excited to be in this new and improved location in Grosvenor Shopping Centre.”
Phil Murphy, head of property and transactions of Evolve Estates, the commercial property and investment company that owns and manages the Grosvenor Shopping Northampton, said: “We’re pleased to welcome our newest tenant to the centre. Ann Summers is a hugely recognisable national brand and we’re thrilled it has chosen to relocate here. It joins a wealth of high street names and local, independent stores in this thriving centre.”
