Dinosaurs in the Park – An adventure for all the family

Dinosaurs in the Park is coming to Delapré Abbey, where you can discover 35 life-sized moving and roaring dinosaurs in the beautiful grounds. Here at Grosvenor, we’re hosting two events in preparation for the main event, one on the 25th of June and the other on the 2nd of July, where dinosaurs will roam free around our centre, and you can find out more information about the experience. Please note that the main event is happening at Delapré Abbey, and not here in the centre.

Make this a school holiday to remember and join them on a journey back in time to the prehistoric past, where you can meet a different life-sized dinosaur at each twist and turn along the trail. The pathway winds its way past well known favourites such as Stegosaurus, Triceratops, Velociraptors and Pteranodon as well as lesser known Dilophosaurus, Kentrosaurus and Hyposaurus. These dinosaurs, and many more, will eventually lead you to the huge, hungry T-Rex poised and ready to attack.

The life-sized, realistic beasts from Jurassic, Triassic and Cretaceous periods move their heads, jaws and claws and hiss, snarl, and growl to provide and exhilarating and truly immersive experience. After you have marvelled at each dinosaur, learn more about them by reading the interesting and remarkable dinosaur facts on the plaques at each enclosure.

Learn something new by listening to the dinosaur dentist bursting to tell you interesting facts about your favourite dinosaur. All of the animatronic dinosaurs are placed next to existing paths or on lawns making them accessible for wheelchair users and families with pushchairs.

Recharge your batteries at the nearby food court whilst watching your children have fun in the exciting and educational Dino-Fun-Zone.

Within your ticket price there are a number of additional free attractions including:

  • Dino bouncy castle
  • Watch Baby dinosaurs hatch
  • Watch the dinosaur dentist perform surgery on a T Rex
