Earth Day is an event held annually on April 22nd, to raise awareness and support for environmental protection. First held in April 1970, it has grown to include a wide range of events coordinated globally by EarthDay.org, including 1 billion people in over 190 countries! The official theme for 2022 is: Invest In Our Planet. Because a green future is a prosperous future.
Part of the theme this year is encouraging people to act boldly, innovate broadly and implement equitably. Here at Grosvenor, we’re working hard to become a greener centre and have plans to be Net Carbon Zero by 2030. We will be raising more awareness about this throughout the year, so watch this space!
