National Leather Collection: Leather in Shakespeare

Leather is everywhere! Not least hidden in the words of William Shakespeare. With a glover for a father, Shakespeare was well-versed in the world of leather. Through a selection of objects from the National Leather Collection, we bring Shakespeare’s words to life and explain the meaning behind his leathery terms. Visit the National leather Collection’s exhibit on the Ground Floor next to Muffin Break every Wednesday between 10am and 4pm to explore.
