Grow Grosvenor Competition – Terms & Conditions
- Promoter
The promoter of this competition is The Grosvenor Shopping Centre Northampton. Located at 2 Union Street, Northampton, NN1 2EW
- Eligibility
- The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
• Only small or start-up businesses are eligible to enter.
• Entries from existing national chains, franchises, or businesses with multiple retail locations will not be considered.
• Employees of the Promoter, its managing agents, associated retailers/partners, their immediate families, or anyone else professionally connected with this competition are not eligible to enter.
- How to Enter
- Entries must be submitted via the official submission portal on the Grosvenor Shopping Centre Northampton website.
• Entrants must complete all required fields on the application form and submit before the stated deadline.
• Only one entry per business will be accepted. Duplicate or incomplete entries may be disqualified.
• There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
- Competition Period
- Entries close at 11:59pm on Friday, 22nd November 2025.
• Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
- Prize
- The prize consists of a one-year (12-month) rent-free retail tenancy within the Grosvenor Shopping Centre, Northampton (“the Centre”).
• The prize includes rent, service charge, and utilities for the duration of the 12-month tenancy.
• Business rates remain the responsibility of the winning occupier.
• The prize is for retail use only and is not suitable for food and beverage (F&B) operations.
• The specific unit location will be determined by the Promoter. If the unit becomes let to a paying tenant during the winner’s occupancy, the Promoter reserves the right to relocate the winner to an alternative suitable unit within the Centre.
• The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative is available.
- Winner Selection
- The winner will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter based on the strength, viability, and creativity of the business proposal submitted.
• The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The winner will be notified by email or phone.
• If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to confirm acceptance within five working days, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to an alternative entrant.
- Prize Fulfilment
- The winner must be able to commence occupation of the retail unit within a reasonable timeframe as agreed with the Promoter.
• The prize tenancy will be subject to the execution of standard retail lease documentation and any required references or checks.
• The winner will be responsible for obtaining any necessary licences, insurance, and compliance with all relevant health, safety, and trading laws.
• Proof of business identity and eligibility may be required prior to final confirmation of the prize.
- Publicity
- By entering this competition, participants agree that their name, business name, and likeness may be used for promotional and marketing purposes by the Promoter, including online, social media, and press materials, without further compensation.
• Entrants may be asked to participate in reasonable publicity related to the competition.
- Liability
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, incomplete, or otherwise invalid entries due to technical failures or issues beyond its control.
• The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or suspend the competition if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.
• The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by entrants as a result of participation in this competition or acceptance of the prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media platform.
• By entering, participants release these platforms from any responsibility or liability arising from this competition.
- General
- By entering this competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
• The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and to refuse participation or withdraw the prize where eligibility criteria are not met.
• The Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the competition is final.
• These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
